Who are we ?
Go Geronimo is a community interest company that is based at a garden nursery’s site which we are slowly developing in Lound between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft in the East of England.
We are a community company made up from a board of 5 directors, an adults and children’s delivery team and a bank of volunteers who all work together to deliver high quality innovative services.
We were brought together because of cuts to local services which we were professionally involved in and we saw an opportunity to use our skills to meet a need and the potential to develop out-reach and community services from our nursery site for the good of the local community.
For the past year we have all worked as volunteers getting some pilot activities set up and market testing the demand in the community.

What we offer and where:
We aim to provide new life experiences through education, vocational skill, and hands on opportunities for both adults and young people while addressing local inequalities rebuilding lives and families and empowering communities.
We offer both children’s and adult services including community gyms, health, sports and activity projects and programmes alternative education opportunities and schools based deliver both curriculum and extra curricular.
Our work is both open access and targeted focusing on Great Yarmouth and Waveney. Our Central base is a garden centre near the village of Lound called Holly Gardens where we are slowly renovating the site to incorporate our activities.
We want to make a difference to peoples lives by:
• More opportunities for people to become more physically active and make social connections
• To raise awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and provide safe and effective opportunities for people living with physical or mental illness to engage in positive activities
• Helping people to connect with the environment and countryside conservation and rural activities as well as understand about food, animals and agriculture and market gardening
Innovation & Partnerships
Go Geronimo is part of our local partnership networks and has several key partnerships that enable us to offer creative and bespoke services over such a large area.
Our Partners include the health and leisure sector, community sports and education, parish councils and neighbourhood management teams, local colleges and FE, local council and county sports partnerships.
